A brief history of the West End SELPAs culture and due process data will be shared. An overview of the efforts to develop a collaborative culture based on alternatives to dispute resolution and focused on relationships will be shared. A summary of the Academy for Parent Partners provided in the West End SELPA and Chino district during Fall 2018 and the successful outcomes will be provided. The staff development opportunities provided to special education directors and other staff will also be discussed.
