This presentation will focus on CADRE’s newly developed Culturally Competent DR System Self-Assessment Tool. The tool incorporates the five function areas of effective DR systems with elements of cultural competence. Participants will get an in-depth walk through of each function area and associated elements. Options for how to use the tool within a local DR system will be discussed. Finally, participants will engage in a discussion about barriers that limit access to marginalized communities and brainstorm ways to remove them.
